Laine Berry Miller

LBM Productions...

... a performing arts studio dedicated to discovering and developing talent in Central Louisiana.

Laine Berry Miller is a native of Alexandria, La. She has either performed or directed over 75 musicals and plays since she began as a dancer at age five. “The stage has always been a second home for me.”

In addition to her BFA in Musical Theatre from the widely acclaimed University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, Laine, a member of Actors Equity Association, lived in New York City and Los Angeles, where she continued her professional training and experience in stage, commercials and film acting. Laine puts a professional spin on everything she does.

LBM Productions is the culmination of her love for performing, teaching, and directing. “I see this company as a chance to build bridges that benefit our performers and community.” She hopes to build two distinct “bridges”:

1) one to our local community by training gifted students of all ages and encouraging them to perform with all the school, community, and private theater groups in Central Louisiana, as well as in LBM Productions;

2) the second is a bridge to Broadway, by bringing professionals from New York to hold workshops and performances, as well as by giving students the opportunity to be discovered through performances with Junior Theater Festival, Disney Parks, and other nationally-recognized venues;

Through 30 years of directing musical theater in Central Louisiana, I greatly value to opportunity to connect with talented people of all ages here in Cenla. Together we have made some amazing things happen for the individuals as well as for our community. And I look forward to discovering and developing new talent with every workshop and production.
